Jennifer Schell promoted to VP of National Penn
BOYERTOWN — National Penn Bancshares Inc. announced that Jennifer H. Schell of Royersford has been promoted from assistant vice president to vice president of National Penn Bank. Schell brings seven years of financial services experience to her position and serves as a relationship manager and commercial lender.
Schell, a graduate of Muhlenberg High School, earned a bachelor's degree in finance from Albright College and a master's degree in accounting from St. Joseph's University.
Schell serves the community as treasurer and advisory panel member of the Tri-County YWCA Excel and is involved with the United Way. Schell is involved with the Phoenixville Chamber, the Exton Chamber, the Chester County Chamber of Business & Industry, the Greater West Chester Chamber, the Tri-County Chamber, the WRN of Chester County, as well as the Chester County Economic Development Council.
Beard Miller Co. partners receive 'Financial Forensics' credential
YORK/READING — Beard Miller Co. LLP, a certified public accounting firm, has announced that two partners recently received the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants' Certified in Financial Forensics credential. Gregory A. Crumling, CPA/ABV, CFF, CVA, department managing partner of the firm's business valuation/litigation support group and located in the firm's York office, and David E. Goss, CPA/CFF, CIA, CFE, a partner in the business valuation/litigation support group in the Reading office, obtained the specialty professional credential, available for business advisory professionals. Both Crumling and Goss are members of the AICPA.

CCHRA monthly breakfast meeting set for Oct. 31

Victoria Hollister joins Pottstown law firm
POTTSTOWN — O'Donnell, Weiss & Mattei P.C. has announced that Victoria S. Hollister Esq. recently became the firm's 12th attorney. OWM Law is a full-service law firm that has been serving the Pottstown area for more than 50 years. In addition to the Pottstown office, the firm established a Phoenixville office, located at 347 Bridge St., in 2006.
Hollister is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University, where she earned a BA in history with high distinction and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She earned her JD from Temple University and was awarded the American Jurisprudence Award for Criminal Law. After law school, Hollister joined the District Attorney's Office of Chester County as an assistant district attorney, and later maintained a private practice in West Chester devoted exclusively to family law.
While raising three daughters in Chester County, Hollister was active in many civic and community activities, including Rotary Club, Girl Scouts, People's Light and Theater Co., Village Productions and the Ludwig's Corner Horse Show. She also served one term as a member of the Zoning Hearing Board for West Vincent Township.
Hollister is a native of Berks County, where she currently resides. She will be based out of the 41 High St. office in Pottstown but will also be available at the Phoenixville location. Hollister's practice will concentrate primarily in the area of family law.
