POTTSTOWN — "Osteoporosis Prevention," a program by nursing students of Drexel University, will be offered at 1:15 p.m. on Wednesday at Pottstown Area Seniors' Center.

Information about the condition, which affects both men and women, will be offered, and current treatments will be outlined.

BOYERTOWN — "Hear What You've Been Missing," a program by Kevin Rowley of Hearing Aid Associates, will be presented at 11 a.m. on Nov. 10 at Walnut Woods, 35 N. Walnut St.

Lunch is included in the presentation, which is part of an ongoing "Let's Talk Seniors" series.

POTTSTOWN — "Topics in American Medicine," an ongoing series offered by the Pottstown Area Seniors' Center, will continue at 10 a.m. on Nov. 10 with the theme "Baby's Brain: Wider than the Sky."

Brad Fuller, PASC executive director, will lead this first presentation on the stages of human development.

NORRISTOWN — "Alzheimer's: Dealing with Memory Issues" will be offered at 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 11 and 18 at the Senior Adult Activities Center of Montgomery County, 536 George St.

April Barber of the Lincoln Center will offer the two-part presentation.

POTTSTOWN — "55 Alive," a senior defensive driving course, will be offered from 8 a.m. to noon on Nov. 12 and 13 at the Pottstown Area Seniors' Center.

Advance registration is required. Cost is $10.

Adults who complete the entire program may qualify for discounts on auto insurance.

DOUGLASSVILLE — Informal visits of the Villa at Morlatton will be offered from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 12.

Mary Freeh-Manalo, director of sales and marketing, will provide information about the retirement community and its new 81-unit assisted living building scheduled to open next June.
