Meter maids would put a stop to illegal immigration

On the hottest day last summer I was parked across from the post office, I walked in, got a roll of stamps and walked out. There was no other car in sight except mine. I got a $15 ticket for parking four inches over the white line.

Yet illegal aliens walk over our borders all day long, get welcomed with open arms and receive free health care, welfare, food stamps, tuition for college, subsidized housing, free schooling, sanctuary cities for criminals, and the police cannot ask them if they are an illegal alien and may not report them to the TCE.

Our Sen. Kennedy and his Democrats, including our president to be, want to give them amnesty. Want them to come out of the shadow into the sunshine. Why? They get everything free, handed on a silver platter for staying in the shadows. They would be stupid to come out of the shadows to pay taxes and $5,000 to become an American citizen without being able to speak enough English.

However, our meter maids are doing an excellent job and should be employed by our government on the Mexican American border. No illegal alien would ever be undetected and cross the border again.
